GTT - Glide Through Technology
GTT Glide Through Technology is a feature developed by TVS Motor Company that allows motorcycles to move forward at a slow speed without giving any throttle input. This is achieved by the engine management system automatically adjusting the fuel injection and ignition timing to maintain a minimum speed based on the selected gear.
GTT is particularly useful for riding in heavy traffic, where it can help to reduce fatigue and improve fuel efficiency. It can also be helpful for new riders, as it can help to prevent stalling. GTT is currently available on select TVS motorcycles, including the Apache RTR 160 4V, Apache RTR 200 4V, and Ronin 225.
To use GTT, the rider simply needs to hold the clutch lever in and select a gear. Once the gear is selected, the rider can slowly release the clutch lever without giving any throttle input. The motorcycle will then start to move forward at a slow speed.
The rider can control the speed of the motorcycle by adjusting the clutch lever. If the rider wants to accelerate, they can give some throttle input. If the rider wants to slow down, they can squeeze the clutch lever slightly.
GTT will automatically disengage when the rider gives any throttle input or when the motorcycle reaches a speed of 10 km/h.
Here are some of the benefits of using GTT:
* Reduces fatigue and improves fuel efficiency in heavy traffic
* Helps to prevent stalling, especially for new riders
* Makes it easier to ride in stop-and-go traffic
* Improves overall riding comfort and convenience
If you are considering buying a TVS motorcycle with GTT, I would definitely recommend it. It is a very useful feature that can make your riding experience much more enjoyable.
